S-OIL holds “Yellow Concert” at the Hwarang Festival of the KMA

● S-OIL holds its Yellow Concert by inviting about 2,000 people, including students and their families, at the Hwarang Festival of the Korea Military Academy.

S-OIL (representative: Nasser Al-Mahasher, Korean name: 나세일) held its Yellow Concert at the Korea Military Academy (KMA) on Oct. 17.

At the first day of Hwarang Festival of the KMA, performances by the KMA Cheering Squad and a musical band took place at the Ulji Auditorium of the KMA in Nowon-gu, Seoul, followed by performances by famous singers such as K. Will, Orange Caramel, Hong Jin-young, Crying Nut, and A-pink. About 2,000 KMA students and their families enjoyed the performances.

“I’m pleased to hold the S-Oil Yellow Concert in the Hwarang Festival of the KMA, which is the cradle for cultivating elite military officers of the Republic of Korea and the symbol of peace keeping,” said the S-OIL CEO. “I hope that these spirited students, who usually dedicate themselves to their study and training, will fully enjoy themselves during this special festival, unleashing their youthful fervor.”

Since 2006, S-OIL’s Yellow Concert as a representative Mecenat program has offered people from all walks of life the opportunity to enjoy various cultural performances. Up until now, it has visited ROK Special Warfare Command, the 9th Infantry Division “White Horse”, Ehwa Women’s University, and many other areas and offered exciting performances, thereby helping more young people enjoy cultural festivals.
