Running Together, Inspiring Together

As part of its 50th anniversary, S-OIL has donated KRW 250 million to 

the Korea Rehabilitation Association for Persons with Disabilities to support the "Marathon Race with the Disabled." The event scheduled

on Oct. 4th at the Peace Plaza, Seoul will be headed by the legendary Korean marathoner and Olympic medalist Bongju Lee and approximately 7,000 runners with and without disabilities will join 5K, 10K or Half Marathon courses of their choice. Runners with disabilities can join free of charge.

S-OIL has been the proud host of the ‘Marathon Race with the Disabled’ for 14 years since 2006 through which it encouraged runners with disabilities to challenge themselves??, support their rehabilitation while promoting greater social awareness on people with disabilities. This year’s marathon falling on the occasion of S-OIL’s 50th anniversary aims to create another meaningful opportunity for people to connect, support each other, and celebrate the value of inclusion.

"We hope ‘Marathon Race with the Disabled’ becomes a meaningful festival where people with and without disabilities can connect and celebrate their accomplishments together. S-OIL will continue to carry
