S-OIL said on Aug. 31 that it held its annual “Dynamic Rookies,” a growth support program for employees in their second year at the company. Held on Aug. 27 and 28 at the company’s TS&D Center in Magok, Seoul, the program is designed to help junior employees understand S-OIL’s corporate vision and management direction and think about their future career development.
During a “Vision Drawing” session, participants worked in teams to visualize the company’s future based on Vision 2035 and its strategic goals. Six works created by the teams were combined into a single collaborative piece, which participants presented to CEO Anwar A. Al-Hejazi and their colleagues. Participants also held a discussion with Al-Hejazi on the company’s management direction and their own career development, while reflecting on their work experiences since joining S-OIL and their future roles.
“Sustainable growth requires you to embrace change, respond flexibly and build trust with your colleagues,” Al-Hejazi said. “I hope the program will give you an opportunity to reflect on your time at the company and consider the direction you want to take going forward.”
